EWE White Boots!
This winter/spring there seems to be a horrible trend going around-WHITE BOOTS.
Even with these celebrities wearing clean and simple boots- they still DON’T look good. All these girls have slim legs and still these boots make their calves look chunky. Not the best idea for anyone. Just picture each of those outfits with a lovely pair of black or grey boots…ahhh much better!
To be honest the tend to make you look like a go-go girl or heaven forbid, a little costume-y! So if you bought a pair this year, set them aside! The only acception to the rule is if they are off white ankle boots that are flat and casual…that is THE ONLY style that is remotely wearable. Something more like these:
Just when you think something is SO obvious…
Guess what I witnessed today?
A lady wearing skinny dress boots, (you know the kind with a pointed toe and a stretchy leg?) with boot cut pants tucked inside!!! (they were even possibly wide leg!) They pillowed and puckered at the top of the boot and looked so uncomfortable!!
I thought it was common sense to wear something that you can actually tuck in with a boot? If not here are my tips for you: skinny pant = boot and wide pant = shoe.
p.s the dressy skinny boot isn’t really in style unless you’re pairing it with work wear. I would opt for an ankle boot or a slouchy boot.
It was never in style…so stop wearing it!
I don’t know who the first one was to do it, but now that its cooling off I am seeing all these girls wearing tights with shorts! WHY? If you want to wear tights, why don’t you just get a cute skirt or dress? Shorts are just overall not flattering and to top it all off we’re not going to put them in storage for the winter now? PLEASE if you do this- just stop. Go buy a skirt or something.
Even BRITTNEY doesn’t look hot it this trend…
Leggings, are they really considered pants?
So it has come to my attention that some ladies out there seem to be wandering the streets of Vancouver wearing leggings as PANTS. Oh how oblivious they are to how wrong that looks on so many levels- no matter how hot your butt is!
First of all…leggings are slowly creeping their way out of style anyways. The 3/4 Capri length should just be banned from all stores. They cut off your leg at one of the widest parts- and overall they are just unflattering. Everyone should be investing in a pair of colored or printed tights…full foot and all!!
Second of all…if you are TRYING to look like Lindsay Lohan, you may want to reconsider…
My third point- camel toe. I mean really- need I say more?!
Last pont, leggings stretch, which means often they are see through…no one wants to see what color undies you’re rocking! No matter how cute they are!
So ladies- if you’re dying to keep your leggings in your closet- please wear them with a tunic or dress! NOT with jean mini skirts and NOT as pants!!
